Natina Reed.

You might have seen her in the 90s film hit Bring It On as the iconic, aggressive cheerleader from the Compton Clovers, but she’s also making the spotlight this week for all the wrong reasons. Image

Thirty-two year-old Natina Reed was walking across the road in Georgia last week, when she was struck by a car and immediately killed on impact.

The mother-of-one was also a member of RnB group Blaque, and had currently been living with her partner, rapper Kurupt, as well as working on a new album and reality television show.

Police have confirmed that the driver was not at fault, and that no charges will be laid.

Blaque group members have paid their respects on Twitter to Reed and her family.

“My world as I know it has forever changed. Until we meet again, may you find comfort in the arms of an angel. I love you Natina,” tweeted Shamari Fears DeVoe.
