Former New Zealand TV Presenter Charlotte Dawson, now known for her hosting position on Australia’s Next Top Model, has been hospitalised after a drawn-out abusive war on Twitter last night.
Dawson appeared on Australian television last night to discuss the effects of Twitter bullying, including her recent endurance of followers demanding she go hang herself promptly.
The war soon grew heated after Heti was tracked down by Dawson, after her Twitter bullying was reported to the University. Her appearance on television last night saw more than 100 messages of abuse–many of which Dawson retweeted on her own profile–telling the celebrity to “go neck yourself you filthy s***” and “please put your face in a toaster”.
Dawson also received images of dead bodies covered in blood, with attached messages for her to “please hang yourself promptly”, before then attacking her appearance and personal life.
After 2am this morning, Dawson tweeted, “Hope this ends the misery” and “You win x.”
However, Dawson is currently being criticised for being a hypocrite, after her many years of sending controversial tweets and “bullying” on the social networking platforms, herself. Her TV personality has been seen to be much the same.
Dawson is currently recovering in hospital and Heti has been suspended from her position at the University..
