a forecasted strike.

Australia’s weather has been heading into the obvious change through to summer, with thunderstorms and those warm nights that we all crave.

But tomorrow, the Bureau of Meteorology will strike in an action against their current pay deal.

The bureau will refuse to provide updates on weather for an hour – at the minimum – and are also threatening to take further action, if a compromise is not made.

The strike will cause Australian’s hassles tomorrow morning, with the risk of having to lose updates from the bureau through television and radio, if their income is not raised.

However, the staff have assured Australian’s that severe weather warnings will still be issued to the public, if need be, as they are still “deeply committed” to their job (theage.com.au).

The union is demanding a 4% pay rise before the day is over.
