on the wrong soil.

Ten years has seen our heroes fighting to keep the peace and justice in Afghanistan. It has also seen the death of too many of them.

Now with another two killed last week and one in the past 24 hours, the plea for the diggers to be pulled out of Afghanistan is rising as a strong call to Julia Gillard.

Unfortunately, the one thing that Gillard and Tony Abbott can agree on is that troops should remain in Afghanistan for as long as they find necessary.

But for 65% of the nation, the war is growing pointless, painful and becoming a devastating threat to families back home.

However, Gillard has stated that many families at funerals of the 27 dead troops, have suggested that their beloveds are “honoured by seeing the mission through”.

But how many more families will end up saying this to the PM, before things change?
